I always loved the function and simplicity of the i3Theme but never liked the looks of it at all. So I went to work to change the basic look and feel of the theme. While I was working on it I found the Unstandard theme and took the way that that theme used post imaging and put it into this theme as well. You use your post images the same way that you would if using the Unstandard theme. So here is the ClearView WordPress Theme.
Installation
To install simply unzip and put contents in the themes folder of your WordPress installation.
Posting Images

1. Place the key lead_image to post an image.
2. Place the full 495×188 image url into the value box for the image key
(Example: http://jericosystems.com/image/none.png)
3. After you do this the first time you will no longer have to type anything into the “Key” field, you can simple choose the key from this drop down which saves your used keys.
Requirements
This theme has only been tested on WordPress 2.1 and above. If you are using anything under 2.1 please update your WordPress installation. I am giving this theme away free but you may not redistribute without my permission. I would also ask that you leave a link to this site somewhere on your site.

Absolutely amazing theme. I am using it currently on my website. Doing some fine tuning. Having trouble tracking down the transparency setting for the object/boxes/content or whatever.
Thanks a ton for giving this away for free.

The theme uses transparent .png’s besides using opacity.
Is there any future where a combination of post image, and text is possible..
ie. When adding a new post, you can with a simple checkbox, check if you want a textpost or imagepost..
And will there be a way to upload the image for “postimage” on the fly…
This feature may come in the future however right now there aren’t any plans on updating this theme.
