VastHTML is under new ownership. Over the next few months we hope to increase the selection of “dark themes” for WordPress as well as improve the current theme offerings with new versions.
A few contentious items that I want to address the incoming comments on:
1. The Forum Server plugin. VastHTML seems to have done a great job cleaning up and supporting a plugin that has been around a while. I don’t know alot about the original plugin, but I do know this: In the open-source world, it is perfectly acceptable to improve on someone else’s work and re-release it. Did you know that WordPress was originally based on another open-source CMS? I really don’t want to read any more complaining about this plugin. If you don’t want it – please don’t download it. Feel free to download the original.
2. Paid Support. I think paid support sucks too. Let’s not do it.

So will there be a forum plugin upgrade?
Possibly. We are going to look it over and see how it can be improved. One thing that i would personally like to see is clean URLs.

Hey mate glad you got the site back up. Was kinda downing to see it down over the past few days.
Just to take up for myself the support wasn’t never paid actually. If you look i help just about everyone in the forums so payment wasn’t a issue. The only thing i was picky about was email support being payed. The reason for this is i didnt see it fair to the people that payed for a premium theme to have the benefit of it and someone that didnt pay anything also getting that benefit. as for the forums though they have always been paid, i thought about the idea and even posted about it but never put it into action.
Thanks for the words about open source. When you think about it everything we use now is just a, better version of something old thats been around for a while, even wordpress itself.
I’m just glad I could FINALLY log in and change my subscriptions. I asked several times to have the junk mail stopped to no avail.
Okay – I am a newbie, however, I have followed the forum readme instructions and set up everything in the forum options and included the in the page, but no forum is showing up – any ideas on what I may have missed is appreciated. I had just installed Forum Server in our site and it worked. I am trying to post a question in the forum about Installation Step No. 4 but failed to do so. I cannot write anything on the Comment Box of any topic. Also, many posts in the forum are empty. I wonder why it is so.
The site went through a server change so it may be a issue with the move. What topics are empty?
Empty topics begin on page 2 of Forum >> WordPress Plugins >> Forum Server. I did not check the other threads.

Hi there.
I bought premium membership this week for 25 USD and submitted a support question, but have not heard back. I am under time pressure and would need support asap. Also, in the forums the message box seems to be absent from the reply form and therefore I cannot post in the forums.
Please let me know whether this site is still running and whether anyone is in charge of premium support.
Love the Forum Server plugin but need a few changes, so thank you very much for a reply.
I am quite disappointed – haven’t heard back at all this week, e-mails I sent bounced back, and no one acknowledged my purchase of premium membership. For that reason, I have canceled my PayPal payment.
I love this website, and think the products are exceptional. I would be incredibly grateful to hear back when someone is ready to give me the 2 minutes support I need for my Forum Server implementation.
Can I say I am luckier than you? Eric replied to my post in less than an hour. However, I do not know what he did with my complaints. Nothing changed on the problematic items I pointed to him.

Too bad. I am starting to look around for other forum solutions, simply because I cannot get a couple of simple things working. A real shame, but I have wasted too much of my time already. As you can see, I was prepared to pay for support for this wonderful plugin.
It woudn’t take too much effort to make the Forum Server a much better plugin than it is today – just try to implement most of the things from the wish list… I do hope that version 1.4 will see the light of day eventually, I’d hate to have to switch to bbPress because of some issues that are bothering me and my users.
